MBBS:

  • The MBBS program at the NIMRA Institute of Medical Sciences, Teaching Hospital & Research Center (NIMS) began in 2016 with an annual intake of 150 students, aiming to deliver world-class medical training. Initially established as a 650-bed facility, it catered to all basic specialties, including Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Dermatology, ENT, Psychiatry, Pulmonology, Anesthesia, and Radiodiagnosis. With 11 operation theaters, the hospital efficiently handles diverse medical specialties. Its out-patient departments are managed by qualified specialists, and the emergency and trauma care units operate around the clock, equipped to manage critical cases.
  • The Intensive Care Unit is furnished with advanced monitors, ventilators, and supportive systems to provide comprehensive care for critically ill patients. The hospital features a cutting-edge central clinical laboratory and a modern blood bank, adept at addressing both elective and emergency medical and surgical situations. Over time, the hospital expanded into a 650-bed teaching facility, integrating both basic and super-specialty departments to manage tertiary medical challenges.
  • Strategically located on the Krishna River's shores, the hospital serves urban, semi-urban, rural, and tribal populations, accessible via public transport. Adjacent to the hospital, the Medical College building adheres to Medical Council of India guidelines and boasts contemporary amenities. Its infrastructure includes state-of-the-art student laboratories, classrooms, a library, an auditorium, research labs, and a well-equipped skills laboratory, ensuring a high-quality learning environment.
